BOLINAS-STINSON SCHOOL WILL BE OPEN, WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11, 2023
Dear Bolinas-Stinson Community,
I hope your family is well despite the extreme weather conditions. The Bolinas-Stinson School will be open tomorrow, Wednesday, January 11, 2023. Conditions with the weather and power have been changing rapidly. We will let you know by 7:00 AM tomorrow morning if this plan changes.
Both campuses have fully restored power at this time. The Bolinas Campus’ septic system is still not functioning adequately. We have portable bathrooms with hand washing stations set up for students and staff. We are asking all staff and students not to use the school bathroom facilities and to reduce their water usage as much as possible to help maintain the septic system as it is undergoing repair.
We will have both buses for the morning and afternoon runs.
A big thank you to our hardworking staff for doing everything possible to reopen the school as quickly as possible under these unsettled and challenging conditions. Thank you for your patience and support during this difficult time. Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.
