Highlights from the 10/8/2019 Board meeting

At the November meeting (11/12/2019) the Board will review providing childcare during Board meetings so that more parents could attend.  Additionally, the will discuss the Board meeting start times.

The 2019-20 School Climate survey will be administered to students in grades 3 to 8, Families and Staff in January.  The Board is hopeful for a robust response.

A survey drafted by the Trustees will be sent out to parents to rank various programs (Visual Art programs, Language, Music, Tech Based enrichment, Performing arts, Experiential learning, and Field trips)

The board discussed the soon to be vacant Specialist-PE position and the Business Office Structure.  A special meeting will be called to discuss the Business office after Supt. Carroll confers with the interim CBO.

The Board approved the annual Ashland Field trip for 8th grade students.
