Dear Bolinas-Stinson Community,
I am so happy the sun is shining again and hope you are enjoying a break from the rain. What better way to celebrate the good weather, than to join in the fun at tonight's event. Our students and teachers have been practicing and preparing for tonight's show and our Maintenance and Operations Team has been beautifying the campus. We have a lot of special school events lined up as we get closer to the end of the school year. Be sure to mark your calendar so you don’t miss out!

Come see our talented students at tonight’s Bo-riety Show. What a great way to spend a fun filled Friday night. Julia Chanin and Mary Lynn (ML) Bryan have put together a fantastic line-up of student (and teacher) acts that will knock your socks off and bring a smile to your face. This is an important tool to help identify areas of strength (what we are doing well) and areas that need improvement. Please join us for this important event where parents will get hands-on training as they navigate and learn about the online platforms their students are using and how to protect their child(ren). This workshop will be in Spanish and English and technology will be provided. Childcare will be provided. Please contact Johanna Scutt soon to reserve your spot (limit 25 participants).

This is a special school community event focused on supporting our students as they participate in fun track and field events. This is a great opportunity to touch base with your child’s teacher. Teachers will be sharing your child’s progress towards state standards and their development of the Characteristics of a Successful Learner on our BSUSD Standards Based Report Card. Teachers will also be sharing more information on your child's social/emotional development and their personal and academic goals. This is a wonderful time to celebrate your child’s progress and any milestones or personal accomplishments, as well as learn how to best support them at home. BSUSD CAFECITO, BOLINAS CAMPUS LIBRARY, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19, 2023 IN THE BOLINAS CAMPUS LIBRARY FROM 9:30-10:30 AM
Please join us at the next BSUSD Cafecito. This meeting will be conducted in Spanish with Simultaneous English translation. We will be meeting to share school and community information as well as answer any questions and gather parent feedback. TOUR TO LEARN, THURSDAY, MAY 4, 2023, 5:00-6:30 PM, BOLINAS CAMPUS
It’s back! The BSUSD Tour to Lean is a fun hands-on adventure for families to tour the school, meet our amazing staff, and experience a little bit of hands-on learning Pre-K-8th grade. There will be live music, free pizza and salad (from 5:00-5:30) and plenty of fun. Your child will be your personal tour guide as they take you on a treasure hunt, where discovery and laughter is the prize.
JOIN THE JEDI/SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL CHALLENGE! THE FOLLOWING WEDNESDAYS: APRIL 5, APRIL 19, MAY 3RD ~ JOYFUL, EXCITED, DEVOTED, IMAGINATIVE (JEDI)
Students enter the challenge by walking, biking, busing or carpooling to school on the above Wednesdays. Teachers will check in with students who participated and record their progress. Students who complete all days of the challenge will be entered into a drawing on May 4th to win a bike from Cleary Bikes and a helmet from Mike's Bikes!
