School Closed

Dear Bolinas-Stinson Community,

The Bolinas-Stinson School will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 9, 2023, due to extended power outages and our septic pumps malfunctioning. Our Maintenance and Operations Team has been working with crews throughout the weekend to remediate the problem and will continue to monitor conditions closely. All planned activities and meetings on campus will be postponed/rescheduled.

We recognize how impactful the decision to close school is to our community and make every effort to keep school open whenever possible. The health, wellness, and safety of our students and staff is paramount and necessitates closing school when we cannot provide adequate conditions. We will make this day up by using the second calendared emergency school day at the end of the school year and will send out an updated calendar soon.

We are expecting another big storm to move in tonight with high winds and heavy rains. Moderately high tides are expected by 11:00 a.m. Please use the following links to monitor the conditions in your area.
